Description: Made in Sarnia by your very own favourite local grocery store! This lentil soup has a rich flavour and works as an excellent base for many different vegetables and proteins.
Directions: Add contents of jar + 7 cups of water to a pot & stir. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes with the lid on and 20 minutes with the lid off, until lentils reach desired softness.
Makes approximately 7 cups of soup.
Ingredients: red lentils, minced onion, minced garlic,ground turmeric, vegetable soup base [dextrose, sea salt, dehydrated vegetables (potatoes, onions, carrots, leek, red and green peppers, cabbage, celery, tomatoes, beet, garlic), cornstarch, hydrolysed plant protein (soy, corn), flavour (yeast extract), canola oil, spices, parsley], ground cinnamon, ground cumin, coriander, bay leaf.
