Ingredients: Dark red kidney bean
Preparation: soak 1 cup of dark red kidney beans in 3 cups of cold water and 1 tsp salt. After soaking, put them in a deep heavy saucepan with enough hot fresh water to cover. Add 1 tsp salt and 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Cover. Bring to a boil and simmer for 3-4 hours or until tender.
