Lambton County Heritage Forest

Happy Sunday! Up this week is Lambton County Heritage Forest.

This trail is located behind the community centre in Port Franks off Port Franks Road. It winds through oak savannah and carolian forest. There are three different trails, all loops, that range from easy to moderate. Lots of hills and narrow trails for a nice challenge!

While you're out this way check out the tundra swans migration at Thedford Bog! It's amazing to listen to the swans on the flooded farmland that acts as a stopover for the migrating birds.
